How/why/when/where did it start?

In 2001 I was living in the Bay area playing in a bunch of bands. I don't know why I had this idea of starting a long distance band. I had never heard of anyone doing something like that but I thought it would be an interesting experiment so I called Jason who was living in New York at the time and we started back then

Describe to us the band’s daily/weekly routine.

Basically whenever we have time we go down to the studio and work on whatever we have going. Sometimes it's rehearsing for a show or a tour, other times we are writing and coming up with ideas.

Sons Of Otis Interview

New season is about to start and the calendar is already filled with huge gigs. One of them is the Fall of Doom at Gagarin 205. 7 international massive bands are in the lineup, one of them is Sons of Otis and they spared some time to talk to us. Here it is what we said.

SONS OF OTIS : how/why/when/where did it start?

It all began in the fall of 1992. Just some friends jamming in the basement in Toronto Canada. The plan was only to do 1 show. There was a bar in town with a well known showcase night for new bands, so we thought lets give it a try. There were no heavy bands around at the time and we knew it would be interesting to say the least. We crushed the place and the fever hit. The rest is…….history.

Asteroid Interview

Isn't fun to be busy as f**k but atleast i had the opportunity to make this interview and im happy about it which is nice.
Hello Asteroid, I am really happy to have the opportunity to make this interview because I thought that we would not see you again on stage. But this changed around X-mas time, what made you reunite?

Hey! Well, it's my pleasure. Yeah, there was a very real chance that you had seen the last of Asteroid. But I think what drove us to give it another go was that we missed playing together first of all, and second I felt there was still a lot of really groovy songs that needed to be written and whom better to do that with than Johannes and Elvis, you know. Magic always happen when we start to jam!

All Them Witches Interview

Needless to say much about All them witches, one of my personally favourite bands together with Greece's audience as I expected, when the news of the band coming to perform blasted, a complete chaos took over the local underground scene. So, what follows and is demanded is a proper interview with them people!

Hello there, we are more than stoked to wait for your arrival and performance in Greece! How are you feeling at the moment, considering the fact that your upcoming gig has shaken the local scene?

I personally was not aware that our music had so much influence over your scene, so I am happy to say that we are happy to be visiting your beautiful country, and we are coming to do what we always do, play music and have a good time.

Deville Interview

How did this band started?

Honestly, don’t know, i joined the band after the third album, Hydra.

Nik & Grant: We're all really excited to be playing in Greece. From what we've heard the people there are extremely welcoming and enthusiastic and we look forward to being able to spend what little free time we have exploring the country!

Orchid Interview

California has some great bands, Orchid being one of them. We will have the opportunity to see them performing live in Athens this summer but before that let’s have a small talk with them first. 

Orchid: The early years. Tell us how this music trip started. 

Theo and I (Mark Thomas Baker : Guitar) have collaborated on music off and on since the mid-90s. Sometime in 2006 we started talking about playing music together again. After a year or so of searching for the right guys, we met Nickel. Shortly thereafter we auditioned Carter and the four of us have been playing this music since 2007. It’s had many ups and downs, but I know we’re all proud that we’ve stuck together through the good times and bad.

Tuber Interview

Hey guys, welcome to Full Throttle (Radio Show) blog. How is it going?

Hello Takis and thanks for your invitation. Things are going well at the moment.

Can you give a brief description for people not familiar with the band, like how and where things started?

Tuber started as a duo by me (John) and my brother Nick when we were studying at Rethimno - Crete, about 12 years ago. However, the band was full formed in 2010 when Paris joined us. A couple of years later Yannis became the fourth member of the band.

You perform instrumental songs. Which bands do you feel influenced you the most and why did you choose not to include lyrics in your songs?

Klusek: We’re high, thank you!

First of all, I hope you ‘re gonna be chattier than your relative and from the same country band, Belzebong. As I hope for the best, I will ask : how did Dopelord start as a band?

Well, it all begun in 2010, in Lublin, Poland. Miodek and me wanted to finally start making music we both listened to. The opportunity appeared and we decided to take it. Quite simple, but it was enough to summon Dopelord from the tombs of Lublin.

First of all, welcome to our blog. This is your first time here in Greece, how do you feel about that?

I (Dylan Carlson) am very excited to finally make it to Greece. when i was a child and lived in Germany (6-8 years old) i was really in to the Illiad and the Odyssey and the history of the ancient greeks, unfortunately when my parents took a trip to Greece, it was the one trip they did on there own, so never got to go.
