The Alternative Rock band Honeybadger from Athens, Greece released their debut studio album named "The Rain" on 23 January 2017.

Honeybadger are an Alternative Rock band from Athens, Greece. They Formed in 2015 and achieved a local success in their home city, Athens. In January 2017 they released "The Rain", the first EP of the band. When they are not playing on local stages like Six Dogs, Boiler etc., they are working hard creating new songs!

Honeybadger introduce themselves with the debut EP album “The Rain”. The album unwraps whilst two friends are having a conversation. The story begins by describing one another the way they are experiencing their lives in the city, with eyes closed - just like our 1st track titled "Eyes Closed".
The two friends share loneliness and seeking for a shelter; "Hole in My Soul" reflects those feelings and expresses their need to fill their void.

The 3rd track of the album titled "Bird in a Cage" reflects the instability that our country is currently tolerating in all aspects.

Last but not least, our track "The Rain" which is also our album title enlightens some paths who seem like dead ends and gives an optimistic twist to those two friends to not give up!
