Baetyl »Jangala«

The psychedelic desert rock band Baetyl from Athens, Greece they self-released their 2nd studio album named "Jangala" on 4 December 2016.

Tracklist:
01. Jangala
02. Lethargy
03. Last Song for a Migrating Bird
04. Matador Muerto

They met in the end of 2003 while composing music for the ancient Greek play, "Birds". It was quite a challenge for the band, since they chose to apply rock sounds to a classic theatrical piece. Their common musical preferences and quests urged them to stick together until now.

For them, this new EP is an emotional melting pot. The word jangala originates from the Sanskrit language, meaning uncultivated, dry land. It refers to a messed up world we all live in and have to deal with…

The album artwork is made by David Seymour.
