Sadhus (The Smoking Community) & Agnes Vein released their Split Vinyl

The collaboration of these two, anything but negligible, forces gets imprinted on vinyl this summer by Vault Relics, whose main goal is to support the extreme underground sound with no sound limits. The split single is to be released in late June 2016.

Tracklist:
Side A - Sadhus - Abduction
Side B - Agnes Vein - Voice to the Void

What happens when, trapped in a limbo between life and death, you are summoned to solve the disappearance of a rooster? This calls for nothing less than some elite members of the Greek Doom community.

On one side, the greek mentors of epic doom/black Agnes Vein, for more than a decade demonstrating how you can give to the word “doom” more darkness, despair and mysticism by blending influences from the whole extreme metal sound spectrum. The agonizing dive into the dark questions of the mind and the substance of what we call “human soul” started to be imprinted on 2003’s “…Of Chaos and Law” EP and its first full version in the labyrinthine “Duality” in 2010. And with “Soulship” three years later, Agnes Vein found a generally more direct, but also more abysmal and scary, way to convey all this.

On the other side, Sadhus “the Smoking Community”, who sound like they have inhaled all the sludge of the world, so much so that they have become one with it. Time is a very relative concept when Sadhus’ seemingly lazy riff machines engage, teleporting the listener to a metaphorical sludge from which none is really sure they want to escape from. And they smoke. A lot. And with whatever effect this might have on the moody nature of their compositions, which vary from hypnotic stoner riffs on one second, to unstoppable punk outbreaks the next. 2014’s homonymous debut album encapsules all this bipolarity, while the band itself doesn’t fail to transfer all this on stage repeatedly
