Formed in 2012 in Athens, Greece, Circus Train began experimenting with sounds and tunes as means of expression. In a somewhat turbulent environment, music was their escape, a welcomed relief from the day to day grind. Inspired by melodies from the 70s, 80s, and 90s they began forming songs to communicate their thoughts and emotions.

When trying to categorize their music one stumbles upon many different influences that help define what rock is today. Labeling their music into any particular genre was never favored by the band, instead being able to relate both musically and lyrically to life’s experiences, has led to a sound that is unique, complex and heartfelt.

After a few years of performing in their hometown at a variety of different club scenes, it was time for the band to record and release its own material. Thus, “Out Of My Cage” is their first EP, released in 2016, including four original songs infused with staggering melodies and powerful rhythms.
