The Electronica /Alternative Rock band Woolbear are Self-Released their debut album called "Lunar Operator" on 28th December 2014.

Woolbear are a five piece band from Thessaloniki, Greece, formed in 2014 by members of “The Vipervikings” and “Grain of Sense”. Straddling the line between electronica and alternative rock, Woolbear feature a distinctive lineup with two vocalists, a multitude of synthesizers, electric guitars, bass, electronic drums and drum machines.

On the debut self­produced album “Lunar Operator”, Woolbear skillfully combine funky guitars, imposing drums and basslines coupled with electronic micro beats and warm synthesizers. Drawing inspirations from a wide spectrum of musical styles and artists such as Radiohead, Moderat, Gorillaz, Foals, Pink Floyd, Metronomy, Beatles, they manage to craft an atmospheric but at the same time intense album with a modern sound and vintage aesthetics.

On 28th December, Woolbear will be presenting "Lunar Operator" live for the first time at Mavri Trypa in Thessaloniki, Greece.
